Officiële presentatie Luistergids Beatrixpark (release)

(English see below) Op zondag 28 november 2021, 15.00 uur is de officiële presentatie van de luistergids Beatrixpark ‘Op expeditie naar de luisterhorizon’ in de Kunstkapel in het Beatrixpark. Deze spiksplinternieuwe gids biedt een auditieve wandeling door het park inclusief een tiental ‘luisteroefeningen’.

Met de gids kun je een wandeling maken door het park op zoek naar de zogenoemde geluidshorizon. Wat hoor je in het park? Hoe ‘ver’ kan je luisteren? Hoe wordt wat je hoort beïnvloed door de bomen en struiken in het park? Wat voor invloed heeft de aanwezigheid van de snelweg?

De gids is ontwikkeld in het kader van Urban Sound Lab in samenwerking met kunstenaars van het collectief BMB con. en tot stand gekomen mede met steun van de Vereniging Vrienden van het Beatrixpark. Marleen Munniksma, voorzitter van Vereniging zal de presentatie openen. Samen met BMB con. gaan we een luisteroefening uit de gids doen in het park. Daarnaast zal een aantal mensen iets vertellen over hun persoonlijke luisterervaringen in het Beatrixpark.

De luistergids bij de release verkrijgbaar voor de eenmalige introductieprijs van € 5,-

Official presentation Listening Guide Beatrixpark (release)

On Sunday 28 November 2021, 15.00 h, the official presentation of the Beatrixpark listening guide ‘Op expeditie naar de luisterhorizon’ will take place in the Kunstkapel in the Beatrixpark. This brand new guide offers a soundwalk through the park, including 10 ‘listening exercises’.

With the guide, you can take a walk through the park in search of the so-called ‘listening horizon’. What do you hear in the park? How ‘far’ can you listen? How is what you hear influenced by the trees and bushes in the park? What influence does the presence of the motorway have?

The guide is developed in the frame of Urban Sound Lab, in cooperation with artists from the BMB con. collective and produced with the support of the Friends of the Beatrixpark. Marleen Munniksma, chairman of the Friends will open the presentation. Together with BMB con. we will do one of the listening exercises in the park. In addition, a number of people will tell about their personal listening experiences in the Beatrixpark.

The listening guide will be available at the release for the one-time introductory price of € 5.
